Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed French Bread

You might be able to tell that I’m on a philly cheesesteak kick here lately. This is a fun way to combine those flavors into a different little twist.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 lb ground hamburger

3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 cup of beef broth

1 large onion, sliced

5 jalapenos, sliced (if you like it spicy)

2 green peppers, sliced

Butter or oil to saute the onions, jalapenos and peppers (and mushrooms… if you so desire)

Salt and pepper to taste

Shredded cheese (measure with your heart)

Start sautéing the sliced veggies over medium heat. I like to start with the onions to make sure they get fully cooked. This usually takes 15-20 minutes.

While that is cooking, start browning the hamburger. Once fully cooked, add in the Worcestershire and the the beef broth. Let this simmer until the veggies are ready and the beef broth cooks out.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you are having a wonderful day!
