I was reading about the health benefits of chia seeds and wanted to give overnight chia seeds a try. This is super easy and I really liked it. I had it Monday through Thursday the last couple weeks. I thought I would get sick of it… but I didn’t. It is reminiscent of tapioca to me.
I’ve seen some people throw chia seeds into their overnight oats or into their smoothies as ways to sneak chia seeds their diet.
I made little containers two at a time while I was getting dinner ready so that it wasn’t something I was rushing to do right before bedtime. I’ve noticed that when I was more diligent at the beginning in shaking my containers a few times during the evening that they were the best.

Let’s Get Crafty!
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons of chia seeds
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon light syrup
1/2 cup milk (I used 2%)
Put all of this in a little container with a lid and shake a few times through the evening. The chia seeds stick together some, so it is great to have a containers with lids to give it a good shake.
