Third time’s the charm! We’ve played with how we made these quesadillas each time and I think we’ve found the winner! The flavor combinations are endless. We’ve only been making them with beef taco meat so far, but I look forward to trying other options.
The key to the crispiness seems to be brushing the quesadilla with the melted butter and using actual sheet pans so you put one on top of the other in oven for the first part of the cooking time.

Ingredients:
8 wrap size tortillas
1 1/2 lbs cooked taco meat
1 cup shredded cheese (we used colby jack)
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 box taco shells (I REALLY like to use the nacho cheese taco shells here too)
1 jar of queso (we used the target brand queso blanco here)
Toppings of your choice
Preheat oven to 375
Brush melted butter on the sheet pan and then arrange the wrap tortillas on top then follow the picture play by play.

Before putting it in the preheated oven, be sure to put the extra sheet pan on top.
Bake for 20 mins.
Then take the extra sheet pan off the top and bake for another 10-15 mins depending on how crispy you want it.
Hope you give it a try and love it! Thanks for stopping by.
