Marinated Pork Chops

My husband picked up a package of pork chops from Costco last weekend. They were about 1 1/2 inches thick. We used half to make kabobs on Mother’s Day and we saved half in a gallon ziploc with this marinade to have in the fridge to have ready to grill in a couple days. We’ve done many different marinades and I wanted to try something new so I googled marinated pork chops and this is a mishmash of what I put together. It is sooooo nice to have dinner practically done in advance to take the thinking out of a future dinner.

Let’s Get Crafty!

Ingredients:

  • 4 large pork chops
  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • Juice from one lime
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
3 large tablespoons of minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

Toss everything but the pork chops in a small container to whisk together well and then pour it into a ziploc with the pork chops. Swish the bag around until well combined… done and done.

You could probably do everything in the ziploc to not have the extra dish.

These were really good! Hope you have a wonderful day. Thanks for stopping by.
