Cabbage Pizza

This is another one of those recipes that I’ve been wanting to give and try that I know my family wouldn’t be a big fan of. The roasted cabbage is great in this. If you love cabbage, I highly recommend this recipe.


Let’s Get Crafty!

Ingredients:
Head of cabbage, sliced into 3/4 inch rounds
EVOO
Pizza sauce, topping and cheese of your choice

Preheat the oven to 400

Brush both sides of the sliced cabbage with EVOO and sprinkle with Italian Seasoning


Roast for about 25 minutes on each side. The length of time to roast is heavily dependent on how large the head of cabbage is. This one was on the smaller side. When I made this again with a larger cabbage it was about 40 minutes on each side.


Once the cabbage is roasted how you want them, this is the point to add the toppings. I did ground sausage and jalapenos along with the pizza sauce and cheese blend.

Then bake for another 10 minutes or so until the toppings are all nice and melty and toasty.
