Breakfast casseroles are one of my very favorite things to have for breakfast. I think it’s because they are easy to toss together the night before and then it is easy peasy to toss in the oven the morning you are having it. This one comes together so easy that we did it the morning we were baking it.
The precooked hash brown patties in this recipe brings a toasty layer of the flavor to the party that makes this my current favorite.

Let’s Get Crafty!
Ingredients:
10 precooked frozen hash brown patties
2 cups of your choice of shredded cheese
1 1/2 cups diced cooked ham
9 large eggs
1 cup 2% milk
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Preheat oven to 350
Lay the hash brown patties in a single layer at the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish that has been sprayed with non-stick spray. Add the ham and cheese over the top of them.

Whisk together the rest of the ingredients and pour over the top.

Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 20 minutes or so. You should be able to inset a knife into the middle and it to come out clean to know it’s done. The cheese with be nice and bubbly and the edges will be a light brown.

Once removed from the oven, let it sit for 10 minutes or so before serving.
I was so excited to dive in that I forgot to take a picture the day we had it. This picture is from the next morning at the office. Such a tasty way to start the day!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a wonderful day.
