Breakfast Sammies

These were a tasty treat after church this morning. I couldn’t decide on sausage or ham, so we doubled the recipe and did both. My nephew and I liked the ground sausage and my husband liked ham the best.

This was a special day because our middle kiddo also made her super delicious “Anytime Fluffy Blueberry Pancakes.” (Or chocolate chips – if you prefer.) They are always so good that these pancakes have set the bar for pancakes in our household. ❤

Let’s Get Crafty!

Ingredients:
16 pack Hawaiian rolls
1 lb ground sausage, browned and drained or sliced deli ham
6-8 slices of American cheese
6 eggs, scrambled and cooked how you like them
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Everything but the bagel seasoning (optional… but my favorite part)

Preheat oven to 350

Slice open the Hawaiian rolls individually.
(We did one where they were individually sliced open and one where we did a single slice down the middle of all the rolls and then cut them individually after baking. Slicing them individually before layering with the ingredients and baking made it easiest to separate and serve. If my husband is reading this – you were right.)

Spray the baking dish with pam and put the bottom half of the buns in the prepared baking dish. Then evenly layer the ground sausage or sliced ham then American cheese and lastly the scrambled eggs. Place the top bun on each roll.

Brush melted butter on each roll and sprinkle with everything but the bagel seasoning.

Bake for 15 minutes covered and then another 5-8 minutes uncovered
(We made these before church and they were cold going into the oven so they needed a little more time.)

Hope you’re having a great day. Happy Sunday Funday.
