While on holiday during spring break there were some things that I really wanted to do and trying several news recipes was pretty high on the list. We had this pizza dip as part of an appetizer dinner on Thursday during March Madness. Stay tuned for the recipe for the pizza crust dippers. They were awesome and the perfect dipping vessel.

Let’s Get Crafty!
Ingredients:
4 oz cream cheese (1/2 package)
5 oz pepperoni slices
2 cups shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 cups pizza/marinara sauce
Preheat oven to 350

Set aside – 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese and about 20 slices of pepperoni. Quarter the rest of the pepperoni slices.
Combine together the cream cheese, quartered pepperoni slices, 1 1/2 cups mozzarella shredded cheese, parmesan cheese, add in garlic powder and italian seasoning.

Spray pam into the bottom of a pie plate and evenly spread out the dip mixture.
This is where having room temperature cream cheese would be helpful… but I’m gonna be honest… the chances of me using room temperature cream cheese in something… well… it isn’t zero but it isn’t much higher either. LOL.

Evenly spread out marinara sauce then top with whole pepperoni slices.
Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes and then let sit for about 10 minutes before serving.

This was so good! I added some red pepper flakes to mine for a little kick and it was perfect. Recipe for the pizza dippers to come.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope your day is off to a great start.
