Brownies on birthdays are a big favorite in our house. We celebrated our middle kiddo’s birthday and took our brownies to the next level by making brookies. This recipe is a keeper!

Ingredients:
1 chocolate fudge brownie mix made according to the box for brownies
1 package chocolate chip cookie mix made according to the bag for cookies

Heat the oven to 350 (325 for higher altitude.)

Add nonstick spray to your baking dish or use parchment paper to lift out the brookie.

Prepare brownie mix according to the box and pour into the baking dish.

Prepare cookie mix according to directions and drop by tablespoon onto the brownie mix.

Bake 35-40 minutes and let cool completely before cutting.
