Oven Tortilla Pizzas

This is a wonderful method for a lower calorie pizza option because you are saving calories in using a tortilla versus a thick crust. But… that could quickly change with the toppings chosen. We made bacon chicken ranch and buffalo chicken.

On this day, I tried a combination of air fried chicken pieces and pan sautéed. We liked pan sautéed the best. The first time that I made it, I made it easier by air frying the “Just Bare” already cooked chicken pieces from Costco. (The picture of this time is a couple down where there is also extra buffalo sauce/ranch on the top.)

Buffalo chicken is one of my favorite flavor combinations and I felt destined to have it on a pizza on this particular day. We didn’t have pizza dough and I didn’t want to run to the store so I improvised using tortillas and loved it.

The chicken we air fried and pan sautéed was diced and coated with 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

Let’s Get Crafty!

Preheat the oven to 425.

Bake the tortilla at 425 for 5 minutes.

Flip and add warm toppings (warm up the sauce too) and bake another 5 minutes until crispy.

Hope you have a wonderful day.
