Savory Baked Brie

We bought the cute little brie circle in December and I’ve been thinking about how to use it. The more I thought about it the more I wanted to do something savory instead of sweet. My mother-in-law and father-in-law were bringing some ham and beans for dinner and I saw a recipe for brie using prosciutto so I decided to make a spin off of that with ham that I had frozen in little packets.

It was really good. I would use more ham next time.

Let’s Get Crafty!

Ingredients:
1 circle of brie
1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/2 cup diced, fully cooked ham (I would do more of this next time)

Preheat oven to 450

Slice the casing off one side of the brie

Add the rest of the ingredients to the side where the casing was removed

Bake for 15 minutes until beautifully melty and gooey.

We served ours with toasted garlic bread and made a sweet and spicy drizzle of equal parts honey and garlic chili sauce.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a great day.
