Classic French Toast

French toast is one of those recipes that proves that delicious meals can be both simple and fast to make.

Our kids like them different ways: The oldest with powdered sugar and syrup, middle kiddo with powdered sugar and strawberries and the youngest with just the powdered sugar.

Let’s Get Crafty!

Ingredients:
12 Slices of bread
6 large eggs
1/4 cup half and half
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Powdered sugar, optional

Whisk together the eggs, half and half, vanilla and cinnamon.

For each piece (one at a time) dip one side into the egg mixture and then flip over so both sides
are evenly coated. Then place on a heated griddle or pan to cook.

I used 300 degrees on the griddle to cook them because I love how even
they cook and the magic of making six at a time is awesome on busy morning.

My daughter’s breakfast was too pretty not to share.

Happy Sunday. Hope everyone has a nice day.
