This recipe came to be on this particular day because one of the crescent roll tubes popped open on the way home from the store. They were on sale and I got a couple that were a sheet of crescent dough rather than the traditional triangles. It worked great and was so good that we made it again just a couple days later to have again last night for New Year’s Eve.

Ingredients:
1 tube of crescent dough
5.3 oz of Boursin cheese (we used shallot and chive one time and the garlic and herb the next time)
3/4 cup shredded cheese
1/2 cup bacon bits
1/2 cup diced green chiles
Preheat oven to 400.
Lay out the crescent dough flat and use a rolling pin to thin out a little bit and shape into a rectangle.
Mix everything else together and spread out evenly over the crescent dough.
Roll up like the picture below (like you would for cinnamon rolls) and make 1 inch slices.

Bake for 18-20 minutes.

Thanks for stopping by. Happy New Year!
