This came together on a Sunday afternoon when we realized we didn’t have a dinner plan. With a quick run to the local grocery store, they had thinly steak that looked great for some fajitas so that’s what we did and it was great!
Using the air fryer does take a while longer with more batches but it was worth it.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds thinly sliced steak
2 peppers, sliced
1 onion, sliced
6 mushrooms, sliced
5 jalapenos, sliced
EVOO (enough to coat each round of veggies)
Fajita seasoning packet
A couple hours before being ready to start cooking, toss the steak with most of the fajita seasoning packet and some EVOO and set aside.
Preheat air fryer to 400
While the air fryer is preheating, slice the veggies and toss with the rest of the fajita seasoning packet, garlic powder (let your heart guide you here… we used about 1/2 teaspoon) and some EVOO.
Air fry the veggies for 5 mins on their own. Shake the basket and add the meat.
We did another 4-5 mins with the meat. The air frying time easily fluctuates based on the size of the slices and ours was pretty thin. You’ll want to keep an eye on it and adjust accordingly.

Hope you’re having a great day. Thanks for stopping by.
